Hi friends, I’m Lauren Studer and I work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. My husband Shane and I have been married over 22 years. We have 2 children, Mason (18) and Hunter (16). Oh lets not forget the fur-babies. Ellie, Squirt and Lucy the cat.

I have been in the health care field in many different capacities over the last 15 years, starting from the bottom and working my way up to where I am now. I have also been a passionate follower of Jesus for the last 14 years and I love being involved in bible studies, retreats and any events that help me grow as a Christian.

Recently the Lord has put on my heart to combine the things that I love so much, helping people and learning more about Jesus. He specifically gave me the vision of starting a marriage/women’s ministry, as it seems that Covid and lock downs only put more stress and hardship on marriages like never before. I am currently working on a weekly blog where people can share ideas about the topic that week and offer support and encouragement to one another.

In the future I hope to start hosting mini-retreats (just half a day) and build up to weekend long retreats for both husbands and wives to come and help them learn how to strengthen their marriage through Christ. I also want to start doing some workshops for ladies to focus on our roles as women, wives, mothers, and so on. Within the next 5 years, I would like to own my own retreat spot somewhere here in Ohio and use it as a bed and breakfast type situation and do week long marriage retreats with couples and individual counseling provided. I would also love to do ladies retreats and build the bond of sisters in Christ. In the next 10 years I would love to expand to having a second location, somewhere tropical, so that the week long marriage retreat could also include some down time in paradise, and be a little more of a vacation retreat
